Determine the Occasion
Office luncheons and events are a great way to boost employee morale. Even throwing an in-office party for a colleague’s birthday or retirement celebration, or simply to show thanks for a job well done can go a long way. Once you determine the “why,” it’s time to start planning!
Set the Location
Hosting your event in the office is easiest since it eliminates the need to commute to another location, but for after-hours events, you may want to hold your event at a different location. If your office party is after hours during the week, look for a venue close to the office.
Invite Your Guests
To get an accurate headcount for the event, send out your invitations and ask employees to RSVP no later than two weeks before your event. This will allow you to have an idea of how much food to order and any other supplies you may need.
Order the Food
