Our Favorite Summer Salad: Watermelon Salad
Nothing says summer quite like watermelon. With only just a few ingredients needed, this watermelon salad is sure to be a favorite this summer. It’s delicious and refreshing – the perfect treat on a hot summer day. Prepare it as a simple snack for one, or make a large batch for your next get-together with friends and family. Watermelon is in season right now, so be sure to stock up on your next grocery run!
- Watermelon (can be whole or pre-sliced), cut into bite-sized pieces
- Fresh mint and basil
- Lime juice
- Red onion, thinly sliced
- Cucumbers, diced
- Feta (tip: skip the crumbled feta and buy a block for maximum freshness)
- Add the watermelon, red onion, and cucumbers to a large bowl. Top with fresh mint and basil and lime juice to taste.
- Crumble your feta and add as much as you like. Skip this step if you have an aversion to dairy.
- Toss, serve and enjoy!
